# TECHNOLOGY

**Cryptosnake is a DeFi and NFT-based P2E browser game with a concept built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) blockchain.** BEP-1155 smart contracts also play a significant role, combining fungible and non-fungible tokens on the same blockchain. Technically, the game has three basic concepts:

1.  **DeFi** as a financial tool to support the economy
2. **Play-to-Earn** as a motivating element of game mechanics
3. **DAO** as a tool for managing the game, taking into account the voices of the community.

The game simultaneously uses three types of tokens: the native SNK token, game NFTs that act as game characters and artifacts, and DAO tokens.
